The Terms as set out hereunder constitute the entire agreement between you and Rainbow Pepper Trading 98 (Pty) Ltd ('Hard Rock Backpackers'). If you do not accept these Terms, do not use this website. By accessing any part of the Hard Rock Backpackers website, you consent to be bound by these Terms.

You should note that Hard Rock Backpackers does not warrant that the information published on this website will be error free and in using this website you acknowledge that the accommodation details and all other information including information relating to travel services published on this website may include inaccuracies, mistranslations or typographical errors. GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These Terms and your use of this website are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. You hereby consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Republic of South Africa courts in all disputes arising out of or relating to the use of this website each time you access the website. Use of this website is unauthorised in any jurisdiction that does not give effect to all provisions of these terms and conditions including without limitation this paragraph. You agree that no joint venture, partnership, employment, or agency relationship exists between you and Hard Rock Backpackers as a result of these Terms or your use of this website. Hard Rock Backpackers's performance of these Terms is subject to existing laws and legal process and nothing contained in this agreement is in derogation of Hard Rock Backpackers's right to comply with law enforcement requests or requirements relating to your use of this website or information provided to or gathered by Hostelworld.com with respect to such use. If any part of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, including but not limited to the warranty disclaimers and liability limitations set forth above, then the invalid or unenforceable provision will be deemed superseded by a valid, enforceable provision that most closely matches the intent of the original provision and the remainder of these Terms shall continue in effect. These Terms (including our Privacy Policy) constitute the entire agreement between you and Hard Rock Backpackers with respect to this website and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals, whether electronic, oral or written, between you and Hostelworld.com with respect to this website. A printed version of these Terms and of any notice given in electronic form shall be admissible in judicial or administrative proceedings based upon or relating to this agreement to the same extent and subject to the same conditions as other business documents and records originally generated and maintained in printed form. Although Hard Rock Backpackers cannot monitor the conduct of its users offsite, it is a violation of these Terms to use any information obtained from this website in order to harass, abuse or harm other persons, or in order to contact, advertise to, solicit or sell to any user or person without their prior express consent.

House rules:

• To preserve and maintain our laid-back atmosphere, persons under 18 year must be accompanied by an adult.
• Reception hours: 8:00 - 22:00, if you know that you will be checking-in outside these hours, please notify us via e-mail in order for as to make arrangements to check you in.
• Not allowed to bring your own alcohol as we have an on-site bar. (Drinks are really cheap)
• No Pets allowed.
• Eat your own food.
• Clean up after yourself.
• Right of admission reserved.

Reservations and payments:

• All reservations require a 50% deposit of the total stay, to secure the booking.
• Reservations can be made via electronic bank transfer (EFT) or credit card (Master Card or Visa). Upon arrival you can pay with your credit card / bank card or cash.
• All reservation amendments or cancellations are valid only if advised and accepted in writing, fax or e-mail.
• Rooms / beds will only be reserved after 50% deposit or full payment has been paid.
• Arriving after reception hours (8:00 - 22:00), you will need to contact us on 083 233 0831 in order for us to open the hostel gate as no one will be at reception to hear the bell.
• You will be charged for all bookings you make. Please make sure you book for the dates of your choice.
• In case of a No-show, your credit card is charged for the full amount of your booking.
• In the interests of security, all guests are required to produce government photo ID on check-in.

Cancellations:

• The following cancellation fee applies on the full value of the booking:
  • The deposit is refundable @ minus 10% admin fees.
  • All reservation cancellations are valid only if advised and accepted in writing, fax or e-mail.
  • For cancellations made between 0 and 7 days before the arrival date: A penalty equal to 100% of deposit will be applied.
  • For cancellations made between 8 and 30 days before the arrival date: A penalty equal to 10% of deposit will be applied.
